Put a sock on it: A creative way to stop thumb sucking.

As a parent, you see your child with his/her thumb in their mouth and you think about how much it’s going to cost you to correct those thumb-sucking teeth. So, you use positive reinforcements, identify their triggers, offer gentle reminders and it seems to be working but you can’t stop your child from thumb-sucking in their sleep. Try putting a soft sock on their hands when they fall asleep. It worked for my nephew. Try it out.
